Serena Liss is committed to providing professional, individualized, and effective representation to Oregon employees facing discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage claims, or contract issues. She values a collaborative approach with each client to determine the best strategy and outcome for each person.

Serena is from Wisconsin and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. After graduating from college, she worked on a variety of projects with wild birds, including interning for the International Crane Foundation costume-rearing whooping crane chicks and tracking whooping cranes throughout Wisconsin.

In 2012, Serena moved to Portland, Oregon to study law at Lewis & Clark Law School. During law school, she clerked for a year with the Earthrise Law Center. She was also a research assistant for Professor Michael C. Blumm, working with him on the second edition of his textbook, The Public Trust Doctrine in Environmental and Natural Resources Law. Additionally, Serena was an editor for two years on the journal Environmental Law and she published an article in the January 2016 issue of the journal Environmental Law Reporter – News and Analysis.

After being admitted to the Oregon State Bar in October of 2015, Serena clerked for the Honorable Marilyn E. Litzenberger at the Multnomah County Circuit Court. Then, in June of 2018, she joined Baker Law PC representing employees. When not working, Serena enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and three cats; reading; and exploring Oregon.
